STAR PEOPLE – Audiobook Coming on Launch Day

I’m thrilled to share some big news.

When STAR PEOPLE launches on 26 September, it won’t just be available in paperback and ebook. You’ll also be able to get the audiobook on launch day.

I created the audiobook using ElevenLabs, an AI-powered platform for lifelike voice generation. It allows you to assign different voices to different characters, tweak tone and style, and produce professional-quality narration quickly. I really enjoyed the process — especially matching the right voice to each character in the story.

Audiobooks are more popular than ever. Global audiobook revenue jumped from about $4.2 billion in 2022 to $8.6 billion in 2025.In the US alone, sales reached $2.22 billion in 2024, up 13% from the previous year. More than half of US adults have listened to at least one audiobook, and that number keeps growing

I think the appeal is clear. Audiobooks let you enjoy a story anywhere — on a commute, during a walk, while cooking, or simply relaxing. They add another layer to the experience, bringing the characters to life through voice.
