Paul Madden Begins Book 3 After Star People

Since publishing Star People, I’ve quietly begun work on something new — Book 3.

I’m now around 40,000 words into the manuscript, and while there’s still a long way to go, this new novel already feels different in the best possible way. The writing has found a natural rhythm, and I’ve been enjoying the process more deeply than ever before.

There’s a flow to this story that’s hard to explain. The ideas have come together naturally, the characters are revealing themselves in unexpected ways, and the direction of the book feels strong and exciting. More than anything, it’s become a project I genuinely look forward to returning to each day.

As a writer, those moments matter. When a story starts to settle into place and the creative momentum builds, it brings a particular kind of energy to the work. That’s exactly how Book 3 has felt so far.

It’s still very much a work in progress, and there’s plenty left to write before it’s ready to share. But I’m excited by where it’s heading, and I’m looking forward to revealing more when the time comes.

For now, I just wanted to let you know that the next book is underway — and that this new chapter is already proving to be a special one.
